NEXYLENE PPS
Since 2005, Nexis Fibers is the only supplier of staple fibers made of PolyPhenylene Sulfid (PPS) in Europe.
- NEXYLENE offers outstanding chemical and hydrolysis resistance at temperatures up to 200°C and is inherently flame retardant. Due to low water absorption, it provides high dimensional stability.
- The following NEXYLENE fiber grades for staple fibers are available:
- S901 for spinning - yarns offer a tenacity at rather low elongation for the weaving of scrims;
- S902 for needling – non-woven batts to obtain filter cloths offers efficient carding and needling process;
- S904 for other applications with low shrinkage.
